Ski and Tea.
Grace and I have started a new tradition of having a cup of Chamomile Tea after a good day of skiing! It is something we have come to enjoy together before bed!
~Nordic Kids~
Last year when I was training for my first Birkie I saw the cutest thing... all these little kiddos with big smiles on their faces learning how to ski, it was called Nordic Ski Kids.
Grace was pretty excited to start her first day of Nordic ski lessons on 00 on Sunday afternoon! She was really happy to have her buddy Mea with too! They were in the Artic Fox group 4-5 year olds. It sure is amazing how fast kids can catch on to new skills!! For every kilometer skiied they color in a box on a chart in the warming shack. This Sunday they skiied 2k!! At home they have a weekly chart to check off their daily winter activities and health fruit and veggie choices made! It is a wonderful ski program and thanks to the wonderful voleenteer coaches and Birkie Youth Ski Foundation it was only $25.00 for the whole season!! 
They skied for 2 hours straight on the entry point of 00 on the Birkie. It was not easy by any means, but they showed what determined little skiers they are! So proud of these kids!!

Grace and I were it!!! We had to find daddy and Ava who decided to hide in the same spot 3 times!!! So we told them they had to pick a new spot and they made it look like they were still there stuffing jackets to look like them, but they tricked us, and were hiding somewhere else! Lots of laughs that night!!!
