This was the warm up for the race I though this was cute. Go Nora Go!!!

Grace was so cute at the Bay Days Race this year. For some reason she gets sad and shy when people laugh or a big crowd cheers. ( for all of you who know Grace she is not a shy or timid child) When I showed her this video and asked her why she was so sad, she said I didn't want the people to laugh at me. Jeff and I showed her how everyone was cheering and she said Oh, I guess I should keep running!!! I felt so bad for her she loves to run. I think she is going through a sensitive faze right now.

Grace I can't believe you are now 3 years old. Everyone said the time will fly by but I never thought it would go so fast. I keep thinking of ways to

keep you my little girl but you are so independent and strong. You are one in a million and so incredible. There is nothing you can't do. You have your mama's strong will and your daddy's heart. I can't wait to see what you will accomplish in your life. We love you so much...

Aidan was so cute he was out in the rain the whole time. It was great watching the kids make the best of a wet situation.


Grace loved her Ariel cake that auntie Jenny made her. Thanks Auntie!!!

Grace really wanted an Ariel Under The Sea Party---it sure was wet, wild, and lot's of fun. It was so much fun we actually blew the power transformer. Grace loved having all of her friends there to share her birthday . Thank you everyone for being so great even though it rained the whole time. Funny I think the kids liked that it was raining.

Amy's First Triatholon

My sister is one of my greatest friends. I am so proud of her. She is an amazing sister, nurse, mother, aunt, wife, and overall person. We have enjoyed doing many activities through the years. One of the goals we share in life is to do a triatholon together. She did her first tri this past week. She loved it and she did great. I wish I could have been there to cheer her on. Next year we will do one together. Great Job Amy!!!

US Olympic Training Facility

We toured the Olympic Training Facility in Colorado Springs. It was just a few miles away from the resort.

It was very inspiring with the Olympics only 28 days away. I met an Outside Hitter on the Olympic Women's Volleyball team. I was hoping to meet Grace Upshaw; Olympic Long Jumper--but she was not around.

Grace was so funny during the tour. She thought she was in the Olympics and it was a race. She would run as fast as she could to each stop. I think she was inspired also.

Day at the Pool in Colorado Springs

Grace loved the fruit drinks as much as she did the swimming. She liked being waited on hand and foot--I hope she doesn't get too use to the service.

Ava had her first pool experience. She loved the water so much she had to take a nap at the pool to recover.





The resort that Prudential chose to have this Conference at is called "The Broadmoor". I am in awe wherever we go. There is so much beauty at the resort and in the natural surroundings.

Colorado or Bust...

This is the Corn Palace in South Dakota. The building is made of Corn.
It is pretty cool. Grace liked the candy corn we found for her in the gift shop.

We stopped at Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota. It was so cool.
There was so much to do there we could have spent the week
there. Ava liked posing for pictures.

On the way to Mount Rushmore we stopped at the Reptile Gardens.
We saw every kind of reptile there is to see.
Grace pet snakes and all kinds of other things that I would never touch.
She is so brave.

We also drove through Bear Country. You drive through this
park where there are wild animals all over running free. You have to drive
with your windows shut because animals are known for getting up
close and personal. It was so cool.

This black bear wouldn't let us past through. He kept walking in front of our car!!!

Getting ready to Make Hay...

Grace was busy helping Daddy and Grandpa wash the farm
equipment. She can't wait to ride in the tractor and help make hay.

Joseph's Baptism

Joseph was such a little sweetheart during his baptism last Sunday. He never made a fuss the whole service. He looked so cute in his baptism suit. Such a little man is he!!! We love you baby Joseph!
