Snow Day Sunday!

We were very sad to not make it home to St.Cloud to visit my family this weekend but we made the best out of a snowy situation! I don't know who had more fun the kids or Jeff & I?

Jeff made a snow fort for the kids to play in!

I took Ava on a ride in the Chariot, by the time we got back she was fast asleep.

What perfect snow for making a snowman! Ava has been in love with Frosty the snowman since Bentlyville in December! She was so excited to hug Frosty again!

Beautiful Weekend!

What a beautiful weekend for being outside! This is what winter is supposed to be~ We enjoyed skiing, skating, and snowshoeing! The rink we made on our pond is turning out great, A couple more really sunny days will make it even better! Grace is coming along in skating she really enjoys being on the ice. Even though she wasn't feeling good this weekend we couldn't keep her from getting out an enjoying the warmth and fun!

Dinosaur Mania!

Grace has been loving this months unit at preschool~Dinosaurs! She has been coming home and playing with her dinosaurs everyday and telling us all kinds of dino facts! On Wednesday she came home with a hat she made and shared it with her little sis!

Gymnastics CRAZE!!!

Grace has been practicing even harder every night since she has watched the HS gymnastic meet on Tuesday night! Ava is just as excited to practice her skills! Wiggles is right around the corner for her!!!

HaPpY NeW yEaR!!!

We have enjoyed Zoo Years Eve at the Lake Superior Zoo in the years past with our friends the Martinsens. The Zoo hasn't been hosting the endeavor the last few years so this year Jen and Hank invited us over for Jen's simply amazing chili & corn bread, and my absolute favorite~all you can eat gingersnaps!!! Soooooooo good!!! Thank you so much! Hank and Jeff put on a fireworks show that the kids LOVED!!! Grace was in tear's when it was time to leave!!

Henry loved Jeff throwing him in the air with his 1,2,3 ~ so did the rest of the kiddos!
