So Much To Be Thankful For...

The girls and I were able to get home to St. Cloud and see my family for 4 days! It is never enough time and Grace always cries when it is time to leave. So Grace and I decided you all need to move to Wisconsin!!!

The smell of sweet rolls in the morning and turkey in the afternoon what a great way to start Thanksgiving! And after the amazing food and pie there is a great game of football on t.v. and being played outside. The old and young love a good game of Turkey BINGO and cards!

I love my family! I always laugh so hard with all of them. I am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. It is equally as great to watch Grace and Ava grow to know and love them also! Thank you family for the BEST Thanksgiving yet!!!

Good Luck and Be Safe!!!

Tomorrow is the big Wisconsin Deer Opener!!! A lot of preparation goes into this 9 day event for everyone that hunts! Jeff, His Dad, Jenny, Grace and I have been scouting, feeding, and working on stands for months. It is a exciting time for us! This is the first year Grace really got into scouting and looking for deer activity!!! It is always fun to see bucks but the real fun is sharing the love of the outdoors with friends and family!

It sure would be nice to see some of the animals we have been catching on the deer Cam. Well except for the 3 Bears!!! :-O (These pics are from last year I could not get into the pictures from this year. )

Here is some inspiration for tomorrow!!!
Just in time for Thanksgiving!!!

Think I saw this bear on a run a couple months ago???

Thankful Voices...

How fun it was to see Grace and her classmates perform some of the songs they learned for Thanksgiving in preschool. She was so excited to perform in front of her family. It was so cute!!! We were so proud of her.

Grace just loves her teacher Mrs. Larson. We are all so thankful for everything she does!!!

What's Up Doc?

Ava had her 9 month well child check up today. She is a Doctor Van Pernis Fan just like her big sister Grace along with most children that have him as their Doctor as well.

She weighs 15 lbs 1 oz (5th percentile) and she is 29 inches tall (91 percentile)! She now has 4 top teeth and two on the bottom!

She was pretty tired at the end of her appointment! Thanks Auntie Amy for the cute bunny coat! It is so soft and cuddly!

Ava is 9 Months Old!!!

Ava has been crawling backwards for a couple weeks now and as of Friday she figured out how to crawl forward! It is so cute. This video is the first time she crawled more than a few steps.

She can point to pictures and knows who some people are and points to them when I ask. I can't believe how fast she learns things. She has 4 teeth on top and two on the bottom. She is finally taking a bottle--Thank you God!

Ava's favorite things to do are patty cake, singing, so big, blowing kisses, laugh at Grace and going outside! She has a smile for everyone she sees and the best laugh. I am in shock that she will be a year old in 3 months.

"History is Made"

I am so blessed to live in a country where every voice is heard no matter what race or gender you are! I hope to never take that for granted!

Congratulations to President-elect Barack Obama. He will face some of the most difficult challenges that any new president has confronted since at least 1981. He will need our prayers and support as a country.

Who Let the Dogs Out?

I was so excited to bring Grace to her first UMD volleyball game on Saturday. Volleyball has always been a fun part of my life, so it was really exciting to see how Grace really enjoyed it also! Popcorn, volleyball, The Bulldog Mascot, jumping, music, and excitment what a great day it was! Thanks Auntie Jenny for coming along with us!

We even won a serving contest during the intermisson!!! I have a feeling Grace might like volleyball as much as I do? It will be fun to watch her find what she enjoys in life. I don't care what it is as long as she is happy doing it!

4th picture from the 4th file...

I have been tagged by Becky to post the fourth picture in the fourth file on my computer. It turns out my fourth file is all videos. So here is the fourth video in the fourth file.

This was grace 2 years ago on Thanksgiving at my Aunt Penny's House in St. Cloud. It was a beautiful 60 degree day on Thanksgiving. Grace and Ashley had the best time riding in the Barbie Jeep. I love visiting my family.
