Julie thew a beautiful and fun wedding shower for Jenny on Saturday!  The wedding is just around the corner now and we could not be more excited!

Final Days Of Summer...

With summer winding down beach days and soccer games coming to an end we are anxiously awaiting the feel of cool crisp fall days, warm apple pie, and breathtaking Autumn color!  



What a great season of learning!  I am so proud of you Grace!  You started the season scared of people laughing at you to enjoying everyone laughing and cheering you on!

Ava's 18th Month Dr. Apt.

Ava had her 18 month well child visit this morning, and she is growing! She is a tall 33.5 inches 90%, and 19lbs 5%! She just loves Dr. Van Pernis and she was glued to his side, just like big sister Grace!

The Apples are looking so good! There are many falling off the trees already! It seems so early but we are enjoying every minute!

The apple is our family's favorite fruit!

Apple was one of Ava's first words! Every fruit that is round is an apple to Ava!

Another Record Smashed!!!

I just love watching this Jamaican run! In the past 15 months, Usain Bolt has won three Olympic golds, a world championship and set four world records.

He shattered his own world record in the 200m at the world track and field championships in Berlin running an incredible19.19! His old record was 19.30. I have to wonder what it would feel like to run that fast? My fastest 200 meter in college was 25.8 seconds, turtle pace in the likes of bolt! He is amazing! Go Bolt Go!

He's Back!!!

I never thought I'd see the day~ Brett Farve wearing a Vikings helmet! I thought if I did see this happen I would be angry or hurt with betrayal! But instead I am filled with anticipation to watch one of the "Greats" play football again! I have always been a fan of Brett Farve through the good and bad! He brings an intense excitement to the game of football that I can't get enough of! If this means watching him play for Minnesota so be it!

What a fun tradition the cabin up north has become for our family! The only problem is a week can fly by when you are having this much fun!
