Garden in Progress

The girls had so much fun playing in the dirt. They found a toad and made him a house. It was really cute listening to them play so well together while Jeff and I worked on getting the garden going!

Sand Slide

Ava watches Grace slide down the horse hill all the time today she decided it was her turn! Way to go Ava you did it!

Ride.

I caught Grace having a little fun with her bike! That Annie sure loves her Grace!

New Addition.

Jeff decided Grace was ready for the next step in riding. He found a POA (Pony of America) that is the perfect match for Grace, his name is Joker! He is so sweet, gentle and patient! They have been spending many hours getting know each other. Grace is hoping to show this year for the Bayfield Co. Fair with Joker!
Grace and I spent Thursday evening pampering Joker. We washed him, braided his hair, and painted his hooves! We brought him to prechool since is has been cowboy/western month at school. It was a great morning and the kids has a lot of fun playing with Joker! I will post picture of that fun morning when I get the pictures from Mrs. Larson.

Kittens Have Arrived!

Princess gave up her dog house so Tiger could have her babies! She kept pulling her blankets out of the dog house and sleeping on the barn floor next to it, and I couldn't figure out why? A couple days later Ava spotted kittens sleeping the hay inside the dog house! It was so sweet! I just love that dog!

Graces First Ballet Recital.

I can't believe the years are flying by! I am so happy to see you grow and become so strong and independent, but my heart keeps trying to hold you like you were just born! Grace you were so wonderful during these recital nights! Even when you were scared and felt like running away you danced your heart out and that was so inspirational to me! I love you so much! I am so proud of you!
Grace was so happy to have both Grandparents there on Thursdays performance! What a special memory!
Grace absolutely loves her teacher Lark Phillips! We thank you for all the hard work and dedication it takes to teach dance.. you have my little girl and oh so many other in love with dance! :)

What an amazing group of sweet little angels! Each and everyone of them danced so well, and it sure brought tears to my eyes watching every single little one up there! :)
As soon as the ballet slippers came off the cowboy boots were on! Ava could not wait to dance on stage... she was happy to have a dance partner with Geneva!
What wonderful memories, of a very special night!

I love you my Gracie Bear!Julie LOVED every second of the dance! You were so happy to perform for your auntie! A BIG thank you to your daddy with a heart of GOLD who gave Julie his ticket for Friday! He just couldn't miss watching you though! He snuck in and watch you perform and surprised us by running by after you finished! We love you Jeff, you are THE BEST daddy! It made Grace feel so loved!
So sweet!

Biking to Grandmas.

I thought it would be a long rode of bumps and bruises before she mastered this incredible feat! Grace has caught on really fast and knows how to start and stop on her own and make skid marks, which she is quite fond of! I know there still will be bumps and bruises but I have to say this has been so exciting and way too much fun!

I remember the day I finally rode on my bike without training wheels like it was yesterday! One of the best days of my life! She was pretty excited to ride all the way to Grandmas house and back without my help! It was fun to run behind her, listening to her giggles of excitement! I still feel that way when I bike! So proud of you Grace!

Earth Day 1k.

I can't think of a better way to celebrate taking care of the earth, then by taking care of our bodies too! This was Grace, Ashley and Austins 3rd Earth Day 1k and it just gets better every year! The numbers of kids participating in this run has tripled in the last 3 years! It is AWESOME to say the least!

I truly love the spirit and drive Grace has for running! I think she could have ran the 5k with me after her race, maybe next year!? I though it was cute to go back the last 2 years for this race! Here are the posts for Earth Day 1k 2009, 2008 http://themoravchikfamily.blogspot.com/2009/04/earth-day-2009-blend.html

Austin getting ready in his age group...

I was so proud of these kids. They ran their hearts out with smiles as they crossed the finish.

One of Graces favorite parts is all the fun characters that give you high fives at the finish.

It is so awesome to see so many kids excited about being active! It sure makes my heart happy

Great job Austin! Feel that heart beating--LOVE IT!

Good to be Home.

Spring is always a week or two earlier at my parents! I love coming home and seeing the trees with leaves and peach blossoms opening in my dads orchard! So good to be home!
This willow was planted the year Jeff and I were married! My college javelin held it up until it was big enough to stand alone! I love coming back to see how strong it is... it is a great symbol of how amazing and strong our marriage is too after 10.5 years! I love you Jeff!!

Grace and Ava were soooooo excited to jump out of the car after that long windy drive to HUG everyone!

Love that silly uncle Jay!

So much love for you Nana and Papa!

We love when Grandpa starts to get the garden ready! There is asparagus coming up and it was so good!

Cousins.

I am so happy I got the chance to meet Owen and Cragen! There are too sweet and cute for their own good!! Thanks Kelsey and Jess for coming out to visit! Love you guys!
