Fall is Finally in the Air...

The woods by our home is usually so slow to change. This weekend as we feed the deer we saw a lot of trees starting to change. God sure is an amazing painter!!!

Fall is our favorite time of year!

Wizard of Oz!

Every fall we have fun decorating scarecrows at our home. This year after seeing The Wizard of Oz theme on main street in Ashland Grace really wanted to make one of our very own! She has loved the movie and bringing it to life in our front yard was the best two days ever! Grace and I had so much fun!

We all worked on some other fun things for fall! Ava keeps pointing up the hill saying stuck in the hay and laughing hysterically! I felt like a little kid all over again!

Little G Turning 3!

Geneva had her 3rd birthday party on Saturday morning! It was fun day of great food, fun games and great friends!

Loved the Tinkerbell Cake Becky made!
What a cute moment I caught the girls doing each other hair!

Batters Up!!! Lets see if Tinkerbell can fly???

Thank you for the fun morning!!!

The Happiest Ten Years Of My Life!!!

My cowboy and best friend!!! I couldn't be more thrilled with these last ten amazing years! When God brought you into my life He blessed me in so many ways. There is a steady rock solid foundation in this family that you have provided by your strong presence! You bring such happiness to our family everyday! I can't wait for the next ten years because it just keeps getting better Jeff! Thank you God for the most amazing husband and father to my children!

Fat Tire Festival of Fun!

What a day it was! Pure adrenaline, excitement, fear, and FUN!!! I have always enjoyed a challenge this was it! Life is too short to live in a comfort zone and with a prayer and many thanks to God I was able to race the Short and Fat off road bike race in Cable WI! I feel so blessed to have accomplished this goal! I hope that my girls will always hold the joy of being active outdoors, and that God will continue to let me live to my fullest potential until my time on earth is done! We truly live in God Country!

It can be pretty intimidating seeing 800 bike turned upside down to hold spots before the race!

It was amazing to have such a great crew cheering me on! I have been given such wonderful friends in life and it brought tears to my eyes having such great people to share it with! I love you Mary, Lucas, Mandi, Blake, Ruth, Jeff, Ryan, Jen, Hank! I cannot thank you all enough for cheering me on in this crazy adventure!
Can't wait for next year when we tackle the Fat Tire 40 with my biking chicks and amazing husband at my side! Rock and Roll here we go!!!!

Ryan and I enjoy the finish! Way to go Ryan finishing in one hour!!!!

Duck, Duck, Goose?

In the field by our house there was a Candian Goose who was wounded and couldn't fly, so we wrapped him in a towel and brought him in our barn to heal. He ate grain and seemed to get stonger so we let him go in the lake by our house. I hope he will heal in time to fly south for the winter? The kiddos enjoyed trying to make him feel better!

Frogging with Kate!

Grace and Ava had a great time frogging with Kate! They were so excited to show her what we love to do! Not bad girls!!! :)

Grace's First Hair Cut!

A scissors has not touched Grace's hair in four years! She needed to have a trim and Friday was the day! After preschool Grace had a play date at Mea's and they played so well and they both took great naps! That evening Jeff, Ava, and I joined them for pizza and Jen cut Grace's hair!  Thank you Jen for making this first hair cut so very special for Grace!  We are so thankful for you Jenifer!  What a special sweet night for Grace!
