Way to Go Jen!!!

Becky and I surprised Jen by showing up to cheer for her
Grandma's 1/2 Marathon. She placed 173 in her age divison and
273 out of all the 2,726 women entered in the race. That is amazing!!!

Here is the website for all the race results and info http://onlineraceresults.com/race/view_race.php?race_id=2117

This picture is when Jen first saw that Becky and I came to cheer her on.

Grandma's Marathon...Coming Soon

One of my very dear and true friends Jen Martinsen is running Grandma's 1/2 Marathon. I am so excited for her. There are few people in my life that inspire me, my Grandma Evavold and how she is fighting back from her stroke is one, my mother and how well she raised four intense children two of which were twins 18 months younger then my oldest brother Jasen, my husband and his work ethic, and my friend Jen. Jen is the type of friend I can ask to do anything with. a couple winters ago we learned how to rock climb, now we are learning how to kayak, and this winter we might just learn how to snowboard. I am so blessed to have her friendship.

Jen is running in Grandma's 1/2 Marathon this Saturday, June 21st and she just had a baby less than 4 months ago. She is a machine. There is nothing she can't do. Thanks for the inspiration Jen not just for me but for all the women out there who hope to accomplish a marathon or a 1/2 marathon as well as raise a family someday. Keep being amazing you do it well. We will be cheering for you on Saturday.
