Halloween 2009!

Super girl and her super kitty set off around 5pm to trick or treat!

Let the excitement and fun begin!
Annie was a bumble bee for a couple seconds!

We headed to Brule first to visit once of Graces favorite great aunts Mary Alice! Then we headed to Iron River and visited Aunt Bev and a couple other places we love! Then we went to The Pizza Parlor and had a wonderful supper!

Then we headed to Ino where the trick or treating is amazing! We love Brilla Lane! Julie Brilla was Cleopatra!

And Pat Brilla was a witch! Ava and Grace were not scared at all! In fact Ava loved it!!!

Grace loving the time she spent with Mea and her Nana and Bumpa tonight!

The night was made perrrrrfect by ending at Grandpa and Grandma Moravchik's! Where Julie and Joesph met up and the kids are spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa every year!
Joseph was an adorable puppy this year!

What a fun night! We are so lucky to have loving family and friends in our lives! We love you all! XOXOXO
Happy Halloween!

Halloween Intruder~We've been Tricked...

We are still waiting on the forensics but we are sure we have narrowed it down to a couple suspects!!! No that is not snow, someone left baby powder all over our deck and side walk when we were out trick or treating tonight!

The crime scene has been comprimised with cat prints and other trick or treaters but we are confindent we will have a open and shut case after finding this full hand print!!!

We will find you... we did get a semi confession from a young girl earlier in the evening!

Ghosts in Our House!

We spent the morning making goody bags for trick or treaters that come to our house! This year we added pretzel ghosts! The were really easy and fun to make! Ava and Grace did all of them by themselves~ they made a great little team!

Martinsen's Spooky Halloween Walk...

It is a day we look forward to every year... and Grace talks about it all night long after we leave! She remembers every little ghost and goblin on the trail! Thanks for the fun and spooky night Martinsen Family!

Love the Treasure Chest and all the pumpkins lit up at the end of the walk!

Pumpkin Carving With Daddy!

Jeff has always been so creative in carving pumpkins! He is patient and a great teacher! I love watching him with the Grace and Ava! This year was even better than last year! It is so much fun watching your kids grow! This year Grace worked so hard on her pumpkin and had so much fun teaching Ava! She is taking after Jeff... it is so sweet!

Annie tried to help clean out the pumpkins too!

Pumpkin Painting!

My girls love to paint! So we spent about 2 hours painting pumpkins! They had a blast and it was so fun watching them!

Picking Deer Apples!

On Tuesday we enjoyed being outside as much as possible! It was beautiful weather and we wanted to take it all in! When Jeff got home from work we all went to work harvesting deer apples! Some of the trees on the farm produce apples that don't taste the best for eating or baking but the deer and horses love them! So we try to harvest as many as we can this time of the year!

It can be a little scary being this high! Ava and Grace were such great helpers picking up tons of apples that fallen on the ground!

Grace really wanted to come up with me this year, I was reluctant but she did great and she was a very good helper!

Carving Up Some Fun at Grandma's!

Grace was so excited to spend the night on Saturday at Grandma Carol's house! They had lot's of fun and carved pumpkins and baked a cake too! Julie and Joseph were there to visit too! Thank you for the fun weekend Grandma, Grandpa Julie and Joseph!

The Two Little Pigs!

Grandpa Joe has two new pets at his house that Grace helped pick out on Saturday! Wilber and Wilma are an exciting new addition to Grandpa Joe's farm! Grace can wait to give them both a nice bath!

Ava loved them!!! She couldn't stop talking about them all night!

And little Joey liked them too! He cried when he had to leave them!

Corn Maze 2009

What a fun tradition we have going to the corn maze! It is something we look forward to every year!

This year the kids found all the scarecrows! Way to go Mea, Henry, Grace, and Ava!

Hard to believe last year Ava and Henry were in the Bjorn! I think they liked it better on foot!

Yummy warm apple cider to complete the fun evening! Thanks Jen, Mea and Henry! We had a great time with you guys!
